First, as mentioned in the product review, there seems to be almost no difference between the sales sample and the product version in terms of tea aroma and the yellowish, slightly dull color.

Since I have opened two cans for comparison, I’m writing this review while drinking little by little. Over time, the tea gradually reaches room temperature, but the refreshing tea aroma and bitterness/astrigency are still pleasant even at room temperature. The aftertaste doesn’t linger, and I think it’s perfect as a refreshing beverage that allows you to enjoy the aroma.

Even though the taste is light, it has a presence because the aroma and astringency of the tea leaves persist. When I reviewed the product version, I thought it went well with meals, but after drinking a few more and now reviewing it again, I realized that it also pairs well when you slowly drink it while reading a book or working at your desk.

I didn’t notice any solid matter that seemed to be tea extract. It’s likely that it is well ground into a fine powder.

Now, let’s compare the product version with the sales sample.

The color is almost the same dull yellow. There is little difference even when placed side by side.

The taste is also nearly identical, but the sample seems to have a slightly weaker bitterness and tea leaf flavor compared to the product version. Without a side-by-side comparison, it would be difficult to tell the difference, and even when you do compare them, the differences start to fade as you continue drinking alternately. Both seem to be nearly the same.

The sample contains 150mg of caffeine, which is 5mg less than the product version. This is the same difference as with the green tea product and sample versions. The other ingredients, including taurine, ginseng, and carnitine, are the same as in the product version.

The sample contains 8g of sugar, which is 1g more than the product version. Although it's difficult to say how much difference 1g makes, the calorie count remains the same at 35kcal, so it seems like there’s practically no difference.

The series name and flavor name are located at the top. The minimal labeling to distinguish the product gives a distinct sample-like quality, which I think is nice.

The ingredient list is in yellow with silver text, which makes it quite difficult to read.

On the back, the silver uncoated surface with a bold black Monster Energy logo stands out nicely.

Personally, I would like to see more simple products like this. Recently, I've grown tired of Monster Energy products that are colorful and full of illustrations or patterns.

The silver top with a black tab is the same as with the Green Tea sample. It also features a logo-printed tab.

Hoping for Long-term Availability and Expansion of the Dragon Tea Series

In America, the easily accessible yerba mate drink would be Guayakí.

I was surprised when I first drank Guayakí in the U.S. and learned that it had a certain level of popularity as a main product. This showed me how much people in some parts of the U.S. value organic and health-conscious products, as well as those with a focus on environmental sustainability.

The Dragon Tea series is a tea-focused series, but I believe its flavor direction could appeal not only to energy drink lovers but also to the general public. I hope to see this series grow with new products, and I wish for its long-term continuation. Perhaps it could even go fully organic or vegan, like Guayakí.
