Energy Ingredients of MONSTER ENERGY Extra Strength Black Ice (0ZERO)

The energy ingredients are identical to the new Black Ice. It contains an energy blend of 2600mg.
Caffeine (160mg), taurine, ginseng, carnitine, and guarana are included, with no changes in the levels of vitamins or other nutrients.

There are no significant changes in the formula or the ingredient proportions, which seem to be almost the same as before.

The 0ZERO version is older, manufactured in November 2010, while the more well-known ZERO CALORIES version was produced in April 2011. While not much has changed, I wanted to compare them.

Although both have minimal bubbles, you can clearly see that the color is quite different. I didn’t expect such a noticeable color difference after only about five months. Since it’s a twist-top can, the storage condition is generally not as good as regular cans, and in some cases, the newer version may even degrade more quickly.

Although I don’t believe there are any ingredient differences, the older 0ZERO version strangely has a milder acidity, making it easier to drink. I had expected the acidity to increase with age, so it was a pleasant surprise to find that it still tasted good even as it aged. (；´∀｀)
