MONSTER ENERGY EXTRA STRENGTH KILLER-B
The Killer B from the Extra Strength series was discontinued early. I have also reviewed the Nitro series' Killer B and made a comparison with the Extra Strength version, so please take a look at both.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
MONSTER ENERGY EXTRA STRENGTH KILLER-B Flavor
As soon as I opened it, the sweet scent of honey lemon burst out, accompanied by a strong bitterness similar to citrus fruits and quinine, raising my expectations quite high ((o(´∀`)o))
When poured into a glass, the fresh bittersweet scent becomes even stronger. The drink has a slightly cloudy yellow color with a thick, weighty impression. The glow is beautiful (*´ェ`*). From the color, it seems like there’s not much degradation.
Taking a sip, the main flavor is a sweet honey lemon taste, and the bitterness I sensed in the aroma is completely absent. Later, a slight acidity comes through.
The aftertaste is characterized by the fresh bitterness of quinine and lemon peel, which lingers in the nose. Both the taste and the fragrance leave an excellent aftertaste, which is a key point—this drink doesn’t just end with a cloying sweetness ( ´∀`)bグッ!
MONSTER ENERGY Extra Strength KILLER-B Energy Ingredients
Contains an energy blend of 5000mg.
Caffeine 160mg, Taurine 2000mg, Ginseng 400mg, L-Carnitine, Guarana, Bee Pollen, Royal Jelly, and other ingredients are included.
It’s interesting that the energy ingredients match the name "Killer B" perfectly. This kind of elaborate energy drink is becoming rarer lately, but drinks with this much character are fun ((o(´∀`)o)) Looking at the ingredients while drinking makes me feel like I’m returning to the basics, which is quite important.
We Hope It’s Revived, Even in a Different Series!
The flavor name "Killer B" fits so well with an energy drink! By the way, "Africanized honey bees are aggressive and feared due to many human fatalities, and are also called Killer Bees (according to Wikipedia)." Scary, right?
The design is also excellent. It’s clearer and more beautiful than any other drink in the Extra Strength series. Additionally, the ingredient composition that fits the concept is interesting, and I think it would still be enjoyable if released today. I wonder if the unique ingredients made it difficult to keep it going. Looking at other Monster products, it seems that way.
The taste is delicious too, so I hope it returns, even in a different series. For example, a more adult-flavored series could be great. It would be nice to have an energy drink with a complex flavor profile like Killer B (something like 28DRINKS). But well, it’s probably difficult (w). I’ll keep my expectations alive in my heart (*´艸`*)
