This is the MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD produced in 2008. Among the fruit juice-infused series, MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD was the first to be discontinued.

Please note that this review is of the degraded taste of the MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD, as it has been some years since its production. When reviewing fruit juice-infused products, please keep in mind that they can deteriorate significantly even if they are consumed a year after the expiration date.

Flavor of MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD

Regarding this MIXXD, as it is a fruit juice-infused version that has passed about 6-7 years since production, the taste is completely different from its original, but I am reviewing and rating it as it is now.

The taste has changed quite a bit from when I drank it in the U.S., so please keep in mind that this is not the original flavor of MIXXD when reading the review. (It's really a shame... (;´д｀)ﾄﾎﾎ...)

The aroma has a strong sourness from the deteriorated fruit juice, along with the original grape scent of MIXXD. It's the distinct aroma of deteriorated fruit juice, so you can immediately tell the difference from the MIXXD I used to drink when you open the can. This is similar to M-80 and Chaos as well.

When poured into a glass, it has a reddish tint, and I remember that the original color was a slightly clearer grape hue. Since I haven't had the habit of pouring it into a glass and it's quite an old memory, I can't say for sure though.

The taste itself retains the rich grape flavor close to my past memories, but the sourness from the deteriorated fruit juice has become too strong, diminishing the deliciousness of MIXXD. I knew the taste had changed before drinking it, but when it has changed this much, I don't even know how to review it anymore. Σ(´∀｀；)

There is almost no trace of the fresh MIXXD from the past. The strong grape flavor and aroma have disappeared. Originally, the fruit juice grape flavor was rich and prominent, with a lasting aftertaste and aroma.

So, my honest opinion about this MIXXD, which is believed to be about 7 years old, is that it doesn't taste good. The deterioration of the fruit juice is severe, so it can't be helped... But it is surprising that even with only 30% fruit juice, it has lost so much of its original character. (^_^;)

Energy Ingredients of MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD

It contains 160mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, 200mg of ginseng, guarana, carnitine, and maltodextrin.

The fruit juice content is 30%, which is similar to the current Chaos. You can imagine that the original flavor of MIXXD was a grape flavor with this level of richness.

Design of MONSTER ENERGY MIXXD

The design of past fruit juice-infused Monsters features a very suspicious purple. I really like the classic texture used in the old designs, including MIXXD, throughout the series.

The pull tab is also in the MIXXD color. I think the classic design with the basic color combinations fits the best!

Both Chaos and M-80, as well as this MIXXD, have packaging that immediately lets you imagine the taste inside. The slightly dangerous-looking colors of energy drinks catch the eye, and the classic design is simple and very good.

I hope it returns as a Juice Monster! ((o(´∀｀)o))
