Sweet, Artificial Sports Drink-like Flavor

It features a mild carbonation and a sweetness that doesn't linger. The flavor is typical of what you'd expect from a sports drink, sweet but hard to define—just a standard sports drink taste.

Although the taste is artificial, the aftertaste is clean and refreshing, making it easy to drink. However, I think it might be hard to finish 591ml of this flavor in a single sitting during daily life, as the repetitive taste could get dull.

The mild carbonation and light mouthfeel could make it suitable for hydration during exercise or after waking up when you're really thirsty. It’s more about drinking without focusing on the taste. It's not bad, but I think it would be best to drink it during specific situations.

It contains 115mg of caffeine and includes orange juice, but the fruity taste isn't very noticeable.

More importantly, each 591ml bottle contains 72g of carbohydrates, making it a high-sugar drink. Wow, it’s surprising how much sugar is packed into something so easy to drink. The calorie count is 290kcal, which makes me unlikely to repurchase it personally.

The product name "RED DAWN" is written in small letters on the left edge of the label. This is a bit disappointing; the product name is so small that it’s hard to even notice.

The bottle has a unique shape, with a neck that is curved and has an unusual texture, making it stand out from typical bottle designs.

The MUTANT SUPER SODA series was released in the U.S. and Canada, featuring three flavors. It didn’t have much of a lasting run, but before being discontinued, a Deadpool collaboration product was released in the U.S. and Canada.

While it includes the Monster Energy logo, it was marketed as a separate "Mutant" brand product.

Although it was introduced to compete with bottled Mountain Dew in the U.S. and Canada, it was quickly withdrawn. Perhaps it didn't succeed in the market, or maybe the test marketing was completed adequately. Personally, I wouldn't want to pay $2 for something with the Monster Energy logo on it.

Though it was discontinued early in 2018, I was still able to find it during my fall 2018 trip to New York, and in the following month, I discovered plenty of stock on sale for 50 cents in Los Angeles. It really seems like it didn't sell well...
