Monster Energy bottled mineral water

Monster Energy Bottled Mineral Water
There exists a Monster Energy-branded bottled mineral water, separate from the VANS Tour Water cans in the U.S.

Since this is not a promotional item, there is very little information available online. Even among energy drink enthusiasts, only a handful of collectors are aware of its existence, making it an extremely rare item to own.

Not for Sale, Just a Free Beverage Product

This Monster-branded mineral water is neither a promotional item nor a commercial product—it’s simply used for providing water. You can think of it like the bottled water placed on tables at seminars alongside presentation materials.

Rather than being available to the general public, it seems to be used internally at Monster Energy, as well as at certain events or simply stocked in coolers for hydration purposes. However, it’s not guaranteed that Monster Water will always be distributed at specific events, and the details remain somewhat unclear. (This is based on my personal experiences with it.)

Just to clarify, everything mentioned here pertains to Monster Energy in the U.S.

Multiple Bottle and Label Designs Exist

Monster has produced several versions of its mineral water over the years. Aside from the bottle shape and label design I own, there are a few other variations. Since these bottles are not easily obtainable by outsiders, only a handful of collectors around the world—whom I personally gifted them to—own one.

Interestingly, like regular Monster Energy products, these bottles have SKU numbers. However, since they are not meant for sale, they do not have barcodes.

Monster Water is essentially just an everyday hydration product, similar to inexpensive brands like Crystal Geyser. It’s meant to be consumed and recycled, making it the ultimate disposable product. However, given how rare it is, I believe it holds great value for collectors.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
