NITROUS MONSTER KILLER-B

NITROUS MONSTER KILLER-B
This is a comparison review of Nitrous and Extra Strength's Killer Bee, which are likely to have almost the same taste. I don't think many people would open and compare both at the same time. (●´ω`●)

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.

NITROUS MONSTER KILLER-B
The main focus this time is on the original version of Killer Bee, Nitrous Monster Killer-B. Later, the Extra Strength version, which inherited the ingredients from Nitrous, was released. In other words, we can expect the original Killer Bee to be somewhat inferior in comparison (ヽ´ω`).

So, I opened both Nitrous and Extra Strength Killer Bee at the same time for a comparative review. For a more detailed flavor review of Killer Bee itself, please refer to the Extra Strength review.

The scent is, as expected, a sweet honey-lemon fragrance with a slight bitterness like citrus peel or quinine. There was almost no difference in the strength or balance of the fragrance. Interestingly, I didn’t feel any sense of degradation or difference at this point.

When placed side by side, there’s almost no difference in color either.

However, in terms of taste, Nitrous Killer Bee felt a bit sweeter. And it wasn’t a dangerous kind of sweetness, just purely sweet... The only clear difference I could feel was this. When a drink deteriorates (or we could say “decays”), the sourness usually increases, so it’s a little scary when you can’t just think “this is sweet and delicious!” (๑´ڡ`๑) (´;ω;`)

Now, let’s take a look at the ingredients.
NITROUS MONSTER KILLER-B
Huh? The Nitrous version, which felt sweeter, has 1g less sugar? (´・ω・`)

Is it a taste degradation, or maybe a change in the proportion of ingredients other than sugar...? There's no clear list of ingredient proportions, but I can only imagine that the amounts of honey and citric acid might differ from Extra Strength.

Energy Ingredients of NITROUS MONSTER KILLER-B

It contains an energy blend of 5000mg. With 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, guarana, ginseng, bee pollen, royal jelly, and other honey-based energy ingredients, this composition is pretty much the same as Extra Strength.

I’ve mentioned the ingredients in the Extra Strength Killer Bee review as well, but at the time of release, this would have been quite an exciting composition! Something new and interesting from Monster!! (*´艸`*)

It’s a Waste if It Deteriorates, So Drink It Quickly If You Get Your Hands on It

Since it’s a twist-top can, the degradation speed is likely much faster than a regular pull-tab can. Although Killer Bee itself is an older product, if you get your hands on it, I recommend drinking it promptly without hesitating or worrying about wasting it. If you’re lucky and the condition is good, you’ll be able to enjoy the perfect balance of honey sweetness and the refreshing bitterness of citrus peel!
