Released in January 2023, THE BEAST UNLEASHED marks the first alcoholic beverage from the Monster Energy brand, a hard seltzer. It was launched in four flavors simultaneously, and in this review, I will cover the original flavor, THE BEAST UNLEASHED MEAN GREEN.

There was a few months' delay between states for the release of the THE BEAST UNLEASHED series, so I picked it up in California, one of the first states to release it.
The 355ml cans were released in a 12-can pack containing all four flavors. Additionally, 473ml cans were also released individually for sale.

In 2024, a larger 710ml size will be available, further establishing its presence in the hard seltzer market. Now, let’s dive into the review of THE BEAST UNLEASHED MEAN GREEN.

The THE BEAST UNLEASHED series released four flavors, and while all of them have high quality, THE BEAST UNLEASHED MEAN GREEN stands out for its excellent balance between the base flavor and alcohol.

Therefore, mixing Monster Energy original with some kind of alcohol wouldn’t quite replicate this taste. It seems the original flavor itself has been adjusted to create the perfect taste for THE BEAST UNLEASHED.

I didn’t expect it to have such a natural drinking experience.
