Uber MONSTER Energy Brew
This is a review of "Uber MONSTER Energy Brew," a blend of Monster Energy's original flavor and a beer-like taste.
It's a non-alcoholic, beer-flavored Monster Energy drink. The bottle looks even more impressive in person than I expected! ((o(´∀`)o))

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of Uber MONSTER Energy Brew
The impact is incredible (*´艸`*) Uber Monster comes in a thick bottle (500ml) of Monster Energy. I wonder why they chose a bottle. Since it’s labeled as Energy Brew, I assume it was designed to resemble a bottled beer.
The content is a non-alcoholic beer-style Monster Energy drink. It’s not a full-on non-alcoholic beer, but it was developed following German brewing techniques.
When you open it (the crown is huge, so opening it is a challenge...), it strangely smells just like the original Monster Energy (*´ω`*). I began to worry that they might have just added the original Monster flavor, but then I took my first sip.
OMG!! The first impression is exactly the original Monster Energy. “Where’s the beer!?” I thought, but then a beer-like malt flavor and aroma gradually emerge in the back of the nose. However, Monster Energy’s flavor dominates, and the two tastes seem mixed in a way that feels a bit halfway (^_^;).
I’ve tried a lot of energy drinks, and with over 300 beers from various countries, I can say that it’s a bit of a middle ground.
Energy Ingredients of Uber MONSTER Energy Brew
The energy ingredients aren’t anything special, with 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, and 400mg of ginseng, all in the usual Monster Energy blend. While the ingredients are fine, I wish the flavor leaned more toward the beer side.
By the way, as stated, Uber Monster is non-alcoholic.
For a True Beer Energy Drink, the Beer Flavor Should Be More Prominent
Since it comes in a bottle with a cool label design and is made using German brewing methods, I feel they could have toned down the original Monster flavor or even eliminated it entirely, leaving the beer aroma as the main element.
Monster Energy’s JAVA series and other flavors showcase their unique characteristics, so I feel like this one missed the mark a bit.
But Uber MONSTER’s Design Is Outstanding
Taste aside, I think Uber Monster is worth buying just for the look (;´∀`). The 500ml bottle is chunky and has an energetic vibe, and the wide mouth makes it easy to drink. Plus, the label design is absolutely cool.
I heard that Uber Monster will be revamped into a can, and when I went to LA, I tried it. While I think the can version would be more cost-efficient due to shipping costs, I hope they continue to offer the bottled Uber Monster. As a collector, this is definitely a bottle worth keeping.
