ROCKSTAR's new European release, burn limited edition design on sale
There has been a rush of new energy drink products in Europe. In addition to Rockstar and Burn, regions have also seen the launch of Monster Energy Assault. In this wave, Japan will also release Coffee Monster on October 7, 2014, which is part of the same series as JAVA Monster.
New Rockstar Release in the UK
A new Rockstar product, XDURANCE Electric Fruit Mix, has been released in the UK. The flavor name is pretty wild, isn’t it? (´∀`*) The can design features XDURANCE’s calculated cool scientific style, with black and green giving it a slightly mysterious look.
Since it's unlikely to be released in Japan, if you get the chance to go to the UK, definitely give it a try.
The XDURANCE series is a concept for sports energy drinks, containing BCAAs and a refreshing flavor. It’s a great energy drink series to buy in bulk for drinking during workouts.
Burn's LOVE ME Design Released in France
In France, Burn has released a limited edition package designed by a New York designer called "LOVE ME." Burn has released many collaborative design packages in Europe, much to the delight of can collectors.
This particular "LOVE ME" design in France is quite different from previous collaborations with F1 and artists. The design is of much higher quality, and it seems to be quite popular.
At this moment, it’s hard to get outside of France. If you get the chance to visit France or a nearby country, make sure to go early and get one. The LOVE ME design is a limited-time release.
If the Culture of Drinking Energy Drinks as Fashion Becomes Established
The new energy drink releases from Europe introduced here are full of designs and sensibilities that would be hard to imagine in Japan, don’t you think? The energy drink brands that originated abroad are setting the trends, but in Japan, where the focus is still strongly on the nutritional aspect, the way energy drinks are consumed—incorporating fashion, art, and sports—is still not widespread.
If a cooler and more fashionable way of drinking and promoting energy drinks becomes more common, I think we will see more stylish energy drinks emerging.
