Decaffeinated Monster Energy UNLEADED released?

Posted on September 26, 2014 | Last updated February 21, 2025

MEGA MOUTH
The excitement from the release of Ultra Black has subsided as summer has ended, but I have a feeling Monster Energy’s momentum will pick up again soon. I’ll be introducing new releases, including caffeine-free Monster Energy and limited-edition variants, along with some leaks.

Monster Energy UNLEADED (Caffeine-Free)

MONSTER ENERGY UNLEADED
Leaks had surfaced earlier, and now it appears in a gray color. It hasn't been released yet, so there were quite a few debates on whether it's real or fake, but now that images like these have surfaced, even the skeptics are starting to quiet down.

So far, there has been no official announcement, and it hasn’t been released yet. If you love the taste of Monster Energy but want a caffeine-free option, this might be perfect for you.

As of now, the flavor is still unknown, but it seems that the sugar content is about the same. The energy ingredients are expected to be the same as the regular energy blend, but without caffeine.

Uber MONSTER in Can Version

Uber MONSTER Uber MONSTER, a beer-tasting Monster Energy, has been available in bottles. It features a huge bottle with a large opening, but for some reason, a can version is also being released. This has been leaked for a few months now. The can design is almost identical to the leaked images.

It’s unclear whether the can version will become the main format for Uber MONSTER, and bottles will be phased out, or if both will be sold in parallel. I actually went to great lengths to get a bottle during my trip to LA before the bottle version is possibly discontinued.

Limited Edition Monster Energy MEGA MOUTH in Bottle

MEGA MOUTH
This will likely be the same as the regular version, but packaged in a bottle. The shape resembles Uber MONSTER, with the same design on the bottle. It will be released exclusively at gas stations and convenience stores like SPEEDWAY, and it won’t be available at US military bases in Japan.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
