Monster Energy New Products and Discontinued Products for Winter 2014 in the U.S.

Posted on November 27, 2014 | Last updated February 20, 2025

Monster Energy’s New Product and Discontinuation Information Starts to Appear on the Official Website in the US, the Home of Monster Energy.

While new products had been released in some areas a few months ago, they were officially announced only recently. Additionally, information about product discontinuations has also been reflected on the official Monster Energy website. Although many people had noticed the dwindling stock on store shelves before the official announcement, the official website has now confirmed it.

2014 Monster Energy’s Final New Product Information

MONSTER ENERGY ULTRA SUNRISE

MONSTER ENERGY ULTRA SUNRISE
This is probably the most anticipated new product, with leaks circulating before the release. Personally, all four of the previous Ultra series have been flawless, so I’m very excited about this one. ULTRA SUNRISE will be available for general sale and is listed on the site.

MONSTER ENERGY UNLEADED

MONSTER ENERGY UNLEADED
Monster Energy UNLEADED, which is caffeine-free. There was a lot of confusion about this leak before its release. It had been traded among enthusiasts for months, but it’s now officially available. These two new products have made quite a splash as winter releases.

Product Renewals

Uber MONSTER’s Can Conversion

Uber MONSTER
Uber MONSTER, which was originally available in bottles, has been converted into a can. Based on the official site, it seems the bottle version is being discontinued. Personally, I wasn’t too fond of the flavor, but since it’s now in a can, I’ll try it again.

From Kona Cappuccino to Just Cappuccino

Kona Cappuccino
The JAVA MONSTER series’ Kona Cappuccino has simply been renamed to Cappuccino. Only Kona Blend will retain the "Kona" name. The original Kona coffee flavor was somewhat unclear, and the design may also change slightly. The taste and ingredients are still unknown. Cappuccino versions have been slowly appearing on shelves over the past few months, but they’ve only recently been reflected on the official site.

Khaos and M-80 Become Juice Monsters

Monster Energy Khaos
The new Khaos has already become popular, with reports that it’s available on U.S. military bases in Japan. The previously original line products have now been separated and made part of the Juice Monster series. Many say the previous packaging design was better. By the way, the fruit juice content has been decreasing since the product’s release. The distinct characteristics of the product seem to be fading.

Monster Energy RIPPER
RIPPER is the U.S. counterpart to the M-80 released in Europe, and the U.S. version has now changed from M-80 to RIPPER. This means that M-80 has been discontinued. The previous Khaos seems to still be in good stock, but it’s likely that it will be discontinued in the near future.

2014 Monster Energy Discontinuation Information

While still available in some places, the Extra Strength Black Ice has been rumored to be discontinued for some time, and it’s now gone from the official site. It’s likely to become a rare item in the future.

Though already removed from the official site, JAVA MONSTER TOFFEE was nearly out of stock when I visited LA this summer. It’s now mostly out of stock and can be considered dead stock. Like other discontinued JAVA series products, it has already become rare.

Upcoming Monster Energy Information to be Reflected on the Official Site

It’s already circulating, but Rehab is now branded as ICED TEA, and Muscle Monster will simplify its ingredient icons.
These updates have taken quite a while to reflect on the official site, and fans have been discussing this information for months before it became public.

There are also more niche details about the two new products, but since this information is mostly for enthusiasts, I’ll skip that for now. If you’re a Monster Energy fan, be sure to exchange information actively! ((o(´∀`)o))

In Japan, it’s rare for such information to surface, so if I get any solid information, I’ll gradually share it as news.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
