New Monster Energy size available in Germany

Monster Energy comes in a variety of sizes, but in 2015, a new size was introduced in Germany.
Its name? MEGA Monster Energy... Wait, what?

Currently Available Only in Germany

When we hear "Mega Monster," we usually think of the 710ml screw-top version from North America. However, in Germany, it has been released in a smaller 553ml can, closer to an import-size can, yet still branded as "Mega Monster."

The official website even features an image of it, which is unusual for just a size variation. Could it be because Germany doesn’t have many flavor options? Or maybe the taste is different? (That’s unlikely.)
Details are still unclear, but I hope to review it soon.

Equipped with a Wing Slide Cover

As seen in the official image, it features the same slide-style wing cover as the Import version.
Having checked the actual can, I can confirm it’s the same as the U.S. Import version, sealed with a sticker.

A European Monster Energy can with this type of lid is interesting! Some Americans are already questioning what makes this "Mega," but from a European perspective, its unique packaging is quite exciting (*´艸｀*).

Will It Become a Regular Product in Germany?

It’s uncertain whether this will be a limited edition or a permanent addition. Germany has previously seen products that appeared briefly and then disappeared. (I’ll review them soon.)

Also, why does the product name differ between the image and the actual can? Is it "Mega Monster Energy" or "Monster Energy Mega"?

Baller’s Blend Also Quietly Released

I hadn’t noticed before, but Germany has now added Baller’s Blend to the Punch Energy series. Additionally, the design for the Rehab series has been updated across various countries.

Hopefully, 2015 will bring even more new releases and surprises from Monster Energy!
