Red Bull Summer Edition will be released in Japan on July 7th!

Finally, Red Bull Summer Edition will be released as a limited edition in Japan!!
It will be available starting July 7th, 2015!!
Not sure if my wish for this summer's Summer Edition finally came true, but this is big news!!

Released in 250ml and 185ml sizes! History may be changing

The Red Bull Summer Edition launching in Japan will be available in two sizes: 250ml and 185ml.
The price will be the same as regular Red Bull.

The flavor is clearly marked as "Tropical Fruit," and the label at the top reads "Tropical Energy Charge" in a blue line.

250ml: Suggested retail price 262 yen (excluding tax) ... Available at convenience stores and restaurants
185ml: Suggested retail price 190 yen (excluding tax) ... Available in vending machines

According to the official website, "The Japanese Red Bull Summer Edition has been improved to better suit Japanese tastes." But, to be honest, the overseas versions were also really delicious!
If this version has been adapted for the Japanese palate, we definitely have to try it out! (´∀｀*)

Different sales locations for different sizes

According to the official website, the 250ml size will be sold at convenience stores and restaurants nationwide, while the 185ml size will be sold in vending machines nationwide.
I want both! For regular consumption, I'll probably be buying the 250ml version in bulk from convenience stores (*´艸｀*). However, the 185ml cans from vending machines may get dents when they fall, which is the only concern...

As for the ingredients, it seems that the Japanese version will follow the same formula as the original Red Bull, just like the overseas versions of the Summer Edition.

Finally, we can enjoy summer with Red Bull!

Looking back at the history of Energy Drink-kun and the Red Bull Summer Edition,
I got the Summer Edition that was sold exclusively in the U.S. in LA,
obtained various European Summer Editions,
and got the Yellow Edition that was sold in the U.S. in San Francisco...

And now, it's finally being released in Japan as a limited edition...ヽ(=´▽`=)ﾉ

It feels like it took a long time, but now we can fully enjoy the amazing tropical fruit flavor in Japan! By the way, just like the Blue Edition, this will also be a limited edition release. I don't think it'll disappear immediately, and you'll probably be able to buy it even after summer is over, though...(^_^;)
