Summer 2015 sees new rock star titles being released around the world

2015 sees a rush of new Rockstar releases

As I wrote in the news from January this year, 2015 is a big year for Rockstar. During this peak season when summer beverages are most popular, Rockstar has been releasing new products worldwide.

In 2015, new releases already include 2 types from the FREEZE series, 2 types from the SPORT series, 2 updated flavors from the ROASTED series, HORCHATA in the United States, and 2 types from the WATER series in the UK.

USA: Rockstar BOOM launch

In the US, the Rockstar BOOM series with 2 flavors was released, which had been leaked for a July launch. While availability is still varied in stores, it’s expected to be more widely available once the summer high season hits.

The flavors are WHIPPED ORANGE and WHIPPED STRAWBERRY. The can design had been completed as a sample in 2014, and it’s finally launched in the US. There’s a similar design in Germany’s JUICED series, which I hope to review soon.

UK and Germany: Rockstar FREEZE launch

In the UK and Germany, new flavors from the Rockstar FREEZE series, which were already released in the US, are now being launched.
The leak in Germany came early, and there seems to be a press release from the UK as well. Officially, neither Germany nor the UK have been updated, but it’s likely reliable information.

What I personally like about the FREEZE series cans is that they’re using prototypes from the US. The flavors are the same as the US, FROZEN LIME, and a new FREEZE flavor, FROZEN WATERMELON. The colors are clear, which is great!

Expect new releases this summer!

There is still information that hasn’t been released yet.
Especially in European countries, Rockstar’s new products and various campaigns have been developing, showing a different level of excitement compared to Japan.

In Japan, there are only 2 flavors at the moment, but if new Rockstar flavors are released during the summer selling season, it would be a surprise (*´艸｀*)
