Juice Monster Khaos is set to be released in Japan!?

Posted on August 31, 2015 | Last updated February 20, 2025

Juice Monster Activation in the US

In the United States, Khaos and M-80 have been branded as 'Juice Monster' and are now part of the series.

As of August 2015, Pipeline Punch, the third installment in the Juice series, has started to be distributed in limited quantities across different regions. While there is more detailed information about Pipeline Punch, I’ll hold off on discussing that here.

Is Khaos in Japan Going to Become a Juice Monster?!

It was recently rumored that Khaos, which was expected to be discontinued in Japan, might actually undergo a reformulation with its fruit juice content reduced to 30%. This information, from an official pamphlet, has started to circulate a bit among the Energy Drink Mania community on Twitter.

The exciting news is not just the reduction in fruit juice content, but also that the packaging may be redesigned to match the American Juice Monster look! ((o(´∀`)o))
Potential Juice Monster Khaos Release in Japan!
It seems that this design has been trademarked.

Based on the "30% fruit juice" label in Japanese and the absence of "JUICE MONSTER" branding, it seems unlikely that Japan will create its own Juice Monster series for now. Personally, I think this is a strong indication of a redesign, rather than a full series launch.

If Khaos is re-released with new packaging and a made-in-Japan version, it would be great to see it become more widely available!

The best part is the excitement in the Energy Drink Mania community. The debates of "Will it be released or not?" and the fun speculations about the look and feel of the cans are some of the most enjoyable exchanges. Right now, Twitter is the hottest place for energy drink enthusiasts in Japan! Let’s keep the hype going as we await the release of the new Khaos! (●´ω`●)

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
