In the fall of 2016, Rockstar released a Gears of War 4 collaboration can.
A few days after the sudden appearance of the Rockstar Energy Drink and Gears of War 4 collaboration can information, the official details about the Gears of War 4 collaboration can were released. It seems that the pre-release started today at PAX, and the store release is set for this fall!
As is well-known from the INKED UP series, Rockstar Energy Drink’s insane design sense is once again on display with this Gears of War 4 can, and it’s looking pretty amazing ((o(´∀`)o)).
2 Flavors, 4 Designs of the Gears of War 4 Collaboration Can
The release will feature two flavors, Rockstar Original and Punch’d, with a total of four designs—two designs for each flavor.
The designs were created by three artists: Jesse Hernandez, Hydro74, and GodMachine. Rockstar is truly skilled at hiring talented external artists. They understand that a can is art in every sense of the word.
Scheduled for Release in the US, Canada, and the UK
The Gears of War 4 collaboration can will first be pre-released on September 2 at the PAX event in Seattle, before hitting stores. The general release is scheduled for this fall, but some official announcements have mentioned that the store release may happen this month. Due to distribution factors, it may take some time before it is available across all of North America.
When the energy drink arrives in the US mid-month, it may not be available just yet (ヽ´ω`). It would be great if it could be released across the entire western region from Seattle immediately!
Currently, the four varieties are planned for release in the US and Canada this fall, with the original flavor scheduled for an undecided release date in the UK. It’s quite rare to see such clear information coming out this early.
Campaign Entries Possible with Code on the Tab
The Gears of War 4 collaboration can features a code on the tab, which can be used for both game-related uses and entering a giveaway. The code submission starts on October 1, so it’s likely that the drink will be available across North America by October.
As for the prizes currently known in the US, they include the Xbox One S, Samsung UHDTV, and Gears of War 4 game, with many other prizes planned to be given away to a total of 500 winners.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
