America: Espresso Monster released as part of the JAVA series!

Espresso Monster Released
A new coffee energy drink from Monster Energy, Espresso Monster, has finally started appearing on store shelves! Many people have already purchased it, and it is expected to be available nationwide in the U.S. by the end of the year. This product is categorized within the JAVA series.

New Coffee Series: Two New Cans

Espresso Monster Released
The two new canned coffee drinks from Monster Energy, Espresso Monster, have been released. As reported in January 2017, these are part of Monster's new coffee line. Looking at the official site, it seems these drinks are not in their own separate series but are categorized under the JAVA MONSTER series.

This image was shared back in January 2017, but at that time, the design hadn’t been revealed, so people were focused more on the bottled Café Monster instead.

Espresso & Cream, Vanilla Espresso

Espresso Monster Released
The newly revealed canned coffee drinks are the red "Espresso & Cream" and the blue "Vanilla Espresso" from Espresso Monster. Both come in 8.4oz (250ml) cans.

With "Triple Shot" written on them, these drinks might offer a different taste compared to the sweeter JAVA line. It would be interesting to compare them to Japan’s Coffee Monster X-Presso series (*´艸`*)

I didn't expect them to be espresso-based, but I had already heard that several new coffee drinks would be released last year, so I’m glad I saved some of the X-Presso and Old JAVA cans ( ´∀`)bグッ!

The can design is striking... ((o(´∀`)o))
The price is around $2.5. This is typical for American coffee drinks, but it seems quite expensive compared to Japan’s canned coffee prices.

Both the 250ml Espresso Monster and the upcoming bottled Café Monster are clearly competing directly with Starbucks' Double Shot. It will be interesting to see how they claim shelf space when they hit stores.

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
