Released in December 2017, the Monster Energy Hirano Ayumu design cans quickly disappeared from store shelves. It was announced that they would be re-released exclusively on Amazon on December 1, 2018. Before the release, I thought it was just leftover stock being disposed of, but it was revealed that the re-released product was newly manufactured. Why they decided to re-release the exact same product at this time remains unclear...
