On April 7th, Awaraise Sudachi was newly released.
The new flavor of Awaraise, Sudachi, is being released! Awaraise became a topic of conversation as the energy drink specifically for Awa Odori, a traditional dance from Tokushima Prefecture.

What’s more, the review was reflected in the development of the new product!
This time, a new flavor using Sudachi, a specialty product of Tokushima Prefecture, is being released. Although it contains only 1% fruit juice, considering the high-level yuzu flavor of the original Awaraise, expectations for this new product are high.
Previously, Awaraise was reviewed and well-received. In the review, I mentioned that it would be even more interesting if amino acids or other Awa Odori support ingredients were added, and to my surprise, I received a reply saying that this suggestion had been incorporated into the new product. I was moved by this response! (●´ω`●)
Thank you. We’ve added amino acids as you advised. This year, we are expecting some changes. f(^_^)、

Not many companies listen to fans’ voices like this when developing products. Usually, it ends with something like “We’ve heard those opinions.” It’s clear that they have a flexible product development and planning atmosphere, and I look forward to seeing the Awaraise series and more developments in the future!
Chosen as a return gift for Tokushima City’s Furusato Nozei program
The new Awaraise Sudachi has been selected as a return gift for Tokushima City’s Furusato Nozei program. Combining Tokushima’s traditional performing arts and specialty products is a brilliant idea, and since the flavor is guaranteed to be great, I hope people outside of the energy drink community will pick it up too.
Recently, the brand has been gradually expanding its distribution, and I’ve seen Awaraise more often in Tokyo. I think it would be interesting to compare the already released yuzu flavor with this new Sudachi flavor!

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
