New Release of Red Bull Organics in Japan on June 5, 2018!
It has been revealed that three new flavors of Red Bull will be launched on June 5, 2018! While the details will be announced later, based on this image, it seems highly likely that the Organics series will be released in Japan as well.
May 31 – The three Organics flavors have been officially announced!
Review of Red Bull Organics in Japan
Before the release of the Red Bull Organics series, Red Bull Japan sent me a special non-sale box containing all three flavors as part of a campaign prize. Here’s my pre-release review (●´ω`●)

Cola, Bitter Lemon, and Ginger Ale Released in Japan
It has been officially announced that Red Bull Organics will be released in Japan. The press release uses "Organics," so we will continue to use the small "tsu" character moving forward.
As expected, the three flavors available in Japan will be Simply Cola, Bitter Lemon, and Ginger Ale. The size is 250ml, priced at 206 yen excluding tax.
Made with only organic ingredients worldwide, these drinks meet the JAS (Japanese Agricultural Standards) certification for organic products in Japan.
The cola contains 2% fruit juice, Bitter Lemon has less than 10% fruit juice, and Ginger Ale contains 4% fruit juice. I’m really looking forward to tasting them ((o(´∀`)o))!
According to Red Bull Japan, the Organics series will be launched in 23 countries, making it a significant new product.

Will the World See the Release of Organics in 2018?
It all began with the release of Red Bull Organics’ four flavors in Austria in 2017. In 2018, four flavors were launched in the United States as well, and Red Bull Organics began expanding in several European countries, with the number of flavors varying by country.
And now, Red Bull Organics is expected to launch three flavors in Japan. The official announcement on which flavors will be released is still pending, but based on the images of the three flavors with a "?" mark, it seems likely that Simply Cola, Bitter Lemon, and Ginger Ale will be the ones released. It seems that Tonic Water won’t make the cut… (ヽ´ω`)
What is Red Bull Organics?
The Red Bull Organics series expected to be released in Japan is not classified as an energy drink. It is marketed as "organic soda" in various countries, and Red Bull Japan has also announced that it is "not an energy drink." The Red Bull Organics series is made only with natural ingredients, free of additives, and meets the organic product standards in each country for manufacturing and sales.
In the United States, a 250ml can costs around 2 dollars, so it seems reasonably priced. In Japan, Red Bull Energy Drink is priced a bit higher, so it will be interesting to see how the Organics line is priced here.
Regional Limited Release
Surprisingly, Red Bull Organics will only be available in the Kanto region. The sales areas will include Tokyo, Chiba, Saitama, and Kanagawa, and the products will be available at convenience stores and supermarkets.
While Red Bull Organics in the United States also had a limited regional release, it seems Japan will follow a similar pattern. In the U.S., while store sales were limited regionally, it was still possible to buy the products in bulk via Amazon, so perhaps a similar situation will occur in Japan.

Before the release of Red Bull Organics, there is a hashtag campaign where you can predict what the new flavors will be, and 160 lucky winners will receive the new Red Bull products.

As of May 8, they posted a tweet like this. It seems it wasn't widely seen since it didn't even show up on Red Bull Japan's timeline, and as of May 28, it only had 20 likes. The hashtagged tweets for this campaign should definitely reach Red Bull (-_-;)

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
