America’s Monster Energy, Ripper & Citron Discontinued!?

America Monster Energy, Ripper & Citron Discontinued!?
The American Monster Energy Juice Monster series' Ripper flavor has disappeared from the official website. This is likely due to the release of a new product, causing the discontinuation of Ripper. Additionally, the Ultra series' Citron flavor is no longer available as well. It will be interesting to see how this move in the United States will affect other countries.

Ripper's Position Completely Lost

Currently sold as Juice Monster Ripper, it was previously marketed under the product name M-80. With its tropical fruit flavor, it was one of the most delicious energy drinks, but recently, mixed fruit flavors such as Pipeline Punch and Mango Loco have been continuously released.

New Release: Pacific Punch

While the release date is still unconfirmed, the new flavor 'Pacific Punch' from the Juice Monster series is expected to launch soon. The can design, like Mango Loco, is vibrant with illustrations, and this may be the reason for Ripper's discontinuation. Additionally, in Canada, Punch Monster Ripper has also disappeared from the official site.

We plan to update the information as soon as the latest official details about Juice Monster Pacific Punch are available.

Ripper Continues in the EU, But Concerns of Its Disappearance Remain

While Ripper has been discontinued in the US, it has recently been released in some countries in the EU with a new design.

However, with Pipeline Punch and Mango Loco now being released in the EU, there's a high chance that Pacific Punch will be introduced there as well, which raises concerns about Ripper's eventual discontinuation worldwide. Ideally, we would see up to five different Juice Monster flavors, including Chaos, sold at the same time.

Ultra Citron Also Faces Possible Discontinuation

America Monster Energy, Ripper & Citron Discontinued!?
Alongside Ripper, the Ultra Citron flavor from the Ultra series has also disappeared from the official site. In South Korea, the local version of Citron was just released. It was unexpected to see such a crucial zero-calorie flavor vanish from the American market, especially given the ongoing debate over sugar consumption. Now, more than ever, having a variety of zero-calorie options is crucial...

Similar to Ripper, Citron has also disappeared from the Canadian market. Will the EU follow suit in the future?

As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
