Limited Edition Matsukiyo Energy - Cafoon
It will be available at Matsumoto Kiyoshi stores nationwide, excluding some locations.
Product name: EXSTRONG CAFOON ENERGY DRINK
Release date: February 11, 2019
Content: 250ml
Price: 150 yen (tax included)
Ingredients of Cafoon
In addition to caffeine and arginine, it contains "Sweet Tea Extract" and "Fermented Black Yuzu Extract." According to the description, this energy drink is designed to help refresh and feel invigorated in situations where you tend to feel sluggish and unfocused.
When I looked into sweet tea and fermented black yuzu, I found that they might help with hay fever. It’s expected to appear in stores starting in February, and the reference to "feeling sluggish" might be a hint towards hay fever.
The product image appears over a forest photo, and while I thought it was a bit odd, given the cedar forest, Cafoon and its relation to pollen... Well, it’s fine (^_^;)
Once again, they want you to enjoy the gap between the green can and the sky-blue liquid that comes out.
