Japan Monster Energy M3 to be Renewed into a Can Exclusively for Vending Machines
The Monster Energy M3, which was previously sold in bottles, will be renewed into a can exclusively for vending machines starting April 23. The new can of M3 is so light that it’s hard to tell if there’s anything inside (*´艸`*) It's really small.

Along with the Pipeline Punch, two new Monster Energy products will be released on the same day.

Japan: The Only Country with M3 in the World

The fact that the M3, which was sold in the United States, was released in Japan in 2014 was a surprise at the time. Outside of the United States, Japan is the only country selling the M3.

Moreover, since M3 has already been discontinued in the U.S., Japan is now the only country where Monster Energy M3 can be found. It’s unlikely that a third country will start selling it.

In this context, the news that Japan’s Monster Energy M3, previously sold in a bottle, has been renewed into a small 160ml can is quite surprising. It could have easily been discontinued to make way for the expansion of other new flavors.

The label design previously used for convenience store displays has been transferred to the new can, which is half the size of the existing 355ml can. It’s even smaller than Red Bull’s 185ml can, making this the world’s cutest Monster Energy, now available in Japan.

If photos of the M3 can were to surface online without prior information, some might think it’s a fake! This is something unimaginable in the history of Monster Energy, and with the release of Pipeline Punch, we can look forward to more exciting releases from Monster Energy Japan in the future.

As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
