Ideal for Heatstroke Prevention? Matsukiyo's New Body and Salt
Released as a summer product, "Body and Salt" retains the features of Matsukiyo's previous energy drinks, such as caffeine and arginine, while adding citric acid and Okinawan sea salt to create a summer-ready energy drink.
Adding salt to soft drinks for heatstroke prevention has become a staple, and it seems that Matsukiyo's new energy drink was developed with this in mind.
Last time, it was Cafun for Spring Pollen, and now the summer release is "Body and Salt" for heatstroke prevention. It's an ideal cycle of continuously releasing new limited-edition products without expanding the regular lineup.

Sky Blue and Red Combination
This time, the can color is sky blue, and the contents are fiery red, designed to be enjoyed in a glass.
Looking at the red, it made me think of the watermelon flavors released by various energy drink brands worldwide a few years ago?? But it seems the flavor of "Body and Salt" is more sports drink-like (^_^;)
The previous release, Cafun, was a novelty and unusual flavor, so this time, I hope the flavor will be a delicious one (*´艸`*)

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
