Bang energy drink now available in Canada!

Bang Energy Drink Launches in Canada!
The currently most popular energy drink brand in the United States, Bang Energy Drink, has finally been officially released in Canada.

The Canadian version is slightly different in its ingredients compared to the U.S. version. As a fan of the Bang series since its early days, I'm excited about this release and it definitely adds to the fun of visiting Canada (●´ω`●)

Differences in Ingredients Between the U.S. and Canada

In the U.S., Bang is a high-caffeine energy drink brand with 300mg of caffeine, but in Canada, due to caffeine content regulations, it is being sold with 180mg per can.

The ingredients are the same as the U.S. version with zero sugar and zero calories, and BCAAs. The caffeine content in the Canadian version is 180mg, and it also includes arginine.

Additionally, creatine and CoQ10 are not included. Since creatine has caused some controversies in the U.S., it’s probably best to leave it out for simplicity.

Available First at 7-Eleven

In Canada, the product is first being distributed at 7-Eleven, and then it is expected to expand to fitness stores, just like in the U.S. With the power of social media, the brand can expand nationwide quickly, which is quite impressive.

Currently, three flavors are available: Blue Razz, Cherry Blade Lemonade, and Black Cherry Vanilla. It’s likely that more flavors will be added in Canada soon.

After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
