Monster Energy in the US has announced new product releases for 2020. There are some exciting new items, so let's take a look!

New Products from Monster Energy in 2020: Trends in American Energy Drinks

First up, two new Ultra flavors. Of course, the zero-sugar options are important to expand. When these two hit the shelves, the display will be even more colorful and eye-catching than before.

Additionally, the JAVA line adds the Triple Shot series. This seems to be a coffee series with even more caffeine. Coffee is a staple, so it looks like they will continue to focus on this category as before.

The Hydro line features a design similar to the black bottles already released in Europe. It looks like they've fully switched to a sports drink style. I'm also curious to see what happens to the previous colorful Hydro series.

There are also upcoming releases planned in the unannounced JAVA and JUICE series.

REIGN's New Products in 2020

REIGN has already released the new "Inferno" series as a thermogenic energy drink in 2020. These three flavors were launched in January and are already on store shelves.

2019 marked the start of the high-caffeine fitness energy drink trend in the US, and 2020 will see companies experimenting with new directions, not just following Bang’s lead. There have already been several thermogenic drinks launched by other brands besides REIGN, so it feels like REIGN is catching up with them. I'm excited to see how fitness drinks evolve this year.

REIGN will also expand into several European countries, meaning high-caffeine fitness energy drinks will spread globally.

Bonus Section

In the bonus section, I previously reported on the new Mother limited edition release, but it looks like it will be available in all stores. Also, NOS Turbo, which is also a zero-sugar drink. The Turbo logo looks great, I really like it!

These are just the early 2020 updates, so more new products will be released towards the summer and fall. It looks like Monster Energy will keep us entertained this year ((o(´∀｀)o)).
