Finally, Japan's Monster Energy has announced a price increase.
The price increase will apply to shipments from February 1, 2023. Both the 355ml and 345ml cans will see a uniform 12.1% price increase, from 190 yen (205 yen including tax) to 213 yen (230 yen including tax).

The sales of Monster Energy in Japan have been continuously growing. In 2018, the sales volume was about 1.3 times higher than the previous year, and in 2019, it maintained a double-digit increase. In response, Asahi Group Holdings has invested 3.3 billion yen in the Asahi Beverages Gunma factory.
It was announced that half of the production of domestically produced Monster Energy, which was previously outsourced, will now be handled in-house.

Monster Energy's New Release, Pipeline Punch has been sold out due to overwhelming demand, and the news has spread across the internet.
Although there is no official mention on Asahi Beverages' website, when Energy Drink Man contacted Asahi Beverages directly, they confirmed that Pipeline Punch has indeed been discontinued. That was fast! Σ(´∀`;)
[Update] Possible Restock!?
According to BIGLOBE News, they are currently working on restocking it, though the timeline is yet to be determined.
I spoke with three people today, but they didn’t have any information about the resumption of production... (^_^;)
Hopefully, the stock will be plentiful in stores by summer!
