As of September 30th, I Tried the Blue Edition Grape Flavor! Check out the review of the Japan-exclusive, world-first Red Bull Blue Edition Grape Flavor here (ｕ_ｕ*) I was lucky enough to win the lottery for the #RedBullFriends campaign, and got to try it a week before its official release! ( ´∀｀)b Good! As of September 15th Red Bull announced that a new product would be released on October 6th, and the fact that it would feature a Japan-exclusive flavor caused a huge stir. A campaign was launched where fans tried to guess the flavor. Finally, the Japan-exclusive Red Bull flavor new product is revealed! The new flavor is 'Grape Flavor'! And it's the Blue Edition! Huh!? Blue Edition!? ... Looking at the packaging, unlike the previous Blue Edition, the silver line at the top reads 'Energy Charge of Grape,' and the flavor section is labeled 'Grape Flavor.' Oh, it’s a new product, but it’s actually a change in the content of the previously discontinued Blue Edition (^_^;) This time, it will become a regular item, so there’s a bit of a mixed feeling, but Japan’s exclusive grape flavor will become a permanent addition to Red Bull Japan’s product lineup. Raizin was one of the first domestic energy drinks in mini cans to hit the market, making a strong presence in convenience stores and even airing TV commercials. Now, it’s getting a fresh new look with a 250ml can and will be released on April 7, 2015. Previously, it was sold under the name *Raizin Japan*, but now it seems Taisho Pharmaceutical is taking full charge. Summer Limited Edition Tropical Flavor Released in the US and Canada A summer limited edition of Red Bull's Edition series, featuring a tropical flavor, has been confirmed for release in the US and Canada. It will be available exclusively at 7-Eleven stores during July and August. The official name of this flavor is "Red Bull Summer Edition". Although it's a limited release, this will mark the fourth edition in the Red Bull Edition series. The previously released editions are: - Red Edition: Cranberry Flavor - Blue Edition: Blueberry Flavor - Silver Edition: Lime Flavor Interestingly, people in Austria have already gotten their hands on it ahead of the US and Canada. A summer party event was held in Linz, Austria, where it was distributed (・∀・) NICE!! Additionally, trial cans in a 2-pack have been sent to Red Bull associates. *Although the tropical flavor might sound rich and intense, the information I received suggests it's refreshing, with a crisp and clean taste, and a lighter sweetness compared to other Red Bull varieties.

Blue Energy Drinks Although it’s still the rainy season, with summer just around the corner, menthol-based energy drinks like Raizin Cool are set to be released as summer limited editions. Coca-Cola’s Burn Refresh Energy will also be available in a 300ml bottle can starting June 23. Both are refreshing and have a color and taste that I personally enjoy. I’d even prefer Raizin to focus on this one (since I’m not a fan of spicy flavors). Currently, there's also the limited-edition blue Red Bull, which is expected to hit the shelves around the same time as the others. I’m not sure how long the stock of Blue Edition will last, but if you’re just looking at the color, it’s almost like "there’s a lot of blue going on lately."

Limited Release of Blue Edition Starting June 10 Red Bull's official social media accounts had been teasing the launch of a new limited-time product, and the details were finally revealed during a NicoNico Live broadcast. Many had speculated that it would be tied to this year's World Cup, especially since the official website had been subtly hinting at it with images of soccer field grass. In the end, the product set to launch on June 10 is the "Blue Edition," which has already been released in Europe and North America.
