When poured into a glass, it’s clear and colorless, which is quite different from the fruity fragrance. Like Bang, most high-caffeine energy drinks are clear, and while it would be great if energy drinks also offered a visual enjoyment, this is how it usually is.

Let’s take a sip. The sweet tropical mango flavor has a smooth and refreshing taste. Though it’s sugar-free, so it does have a bit of that artificial sweetener taste, it isn’t overpowering.

The tropical flavor is strong, but the aftertaste is crisp and doesn’t linger, which makes it feel very refreshing. This makes it easy to drink not just before exercise, but even during, as it’s light and ideal for a sports-type energy drink. The level of execution is quite high.

Lately, many high-caffeine, zero-sugar energy drinks tend to go overboard with their flavors, making them overwhelming when paired with exercise. Considering that, NOS Turbo is definitely a recommended choice among the many high-caffeine energy drinks out there.

The NOS logo is so small that, if you didn’t know it was a new NOS product, you might mistake it for a new energy drink series. Could the NOS brand be introducing a Turbo series for high-caffeine drinks?

There are logos for ingredients and functionalities commonly seen in sports energy drinks. It gives off a sporty vibe. I’d love to see more detailed information on the ingredients and their exact quantities.

Many of the major American energy drink brands have been launching fitness-related energy drinks. 2020 in America was all about fitness energy. Starting in 2021, NOS TURBO will be released in Canada as well. It’ll be interesting to see how the NOS TURBO series evolves.

2024 Addendum

NOS TURBO was a product that followed the trend of high-caffeine energy drinks and fitness-related energy drinks in the U.S., but in the end, no additional flavors were released. It was simply launched as a new product, and there was no expansion into a Turbo series or anything similar, and production was eventually discontinued.
