ok cola energy
The ok Cola Energy is a low-cost private brand energy drink from Switzerland. Cola flavors are a common path for many energy drink brands, but they tend to disappear without continuing sales. What happened with ok Energy Drink, though?

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of ok cola energy
When you take a sip, it has a sweet taste with a slight acidity, closely resembling the classic Coca-Cola flavor. It tastes like you're drinking regular Coca-Cola with a stable, satisfying taste. Other cola-flavored energy drinks often tend to have a cheap taste, but ok Energy Drink avoids that and is genuinely good as a cola.
Unless you directly compare it to the original Coca-Cola, the taste and scent are strikingly similar, and the imitation feels quite strong. But when it's this good, it's hard to complain. It outshines other cola-flavored energy drinks that have been launched and discontinued by other brands.
Energy ingredients in ok cola energy
It contains 65mg of caffeine. No other energy ingredients are included. While it's a high-caffeine cola, it's debatable whether it should really be called an "energy cola."
Design of ok cola energy
It has the same black can design as the original ok, with a red color combination that screams "cola." It only says "ok.- cola energy," so the design feels minimalistic and lacking.
Previously, ok series cans had "energy drink" written above the flavor name, but ok cola energy doesn’t follow that format. Also, unlike other ok products, it doesn't contain the usual energy blend ingredients, with only caffeine included, so it's questionable whether it should even be categorized as an energy drink.
Despite its great taste, which is better than many top cola-flavored drinks and even the original Coca-Cola Energy, it failed to become a staple product and was discontinued.
People don’t usually opt for an expensive energy drink in cola flavor, and they’d rather buy the regular, cheap 1.5L or 2L bottles of original Coca-Cola instead. It's just more practical. (^_^;)
