In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Flavor of ok energy drink
When you open the can, the familiar aroma of a classic flavor fills the air. Since ok energy drink offers a wide variety of flavors, the original is, of course, a classic flavor.
When you take a sip, it has a sweet and sour classic flavor, but the sweetness is moderate, and it doesn't linger in your mouth. The acidity is of standard strength and less intense than Red Bull, so you can surprisingly finish it quite quickly with a 250ml can.
I was surprised that the aroma doesn't linger as much as I expected. So, there isn't much aftertaste to enjoy. It's not bland, but overall, it's a light flavor.
It’s not heavy, but it’s not bad or thin either. It doesn’t have any chemical or off flavors, so if you feel like having a classic flavor, this is a solid choice.
Energy ingredients of ok energy drink
It contains 80mg of caffeine, 1000mg of taurine, and 60mg of glucuronolactone. It has a standard composition and amount of energy ingredients.
Design of ok energy drink
Honestly, there’s not much to say about the design of ok energy drink…(^_^;)
The template design of ok energy drink features the product name on the base color and the flavor name at the top left.
Since it’s a private label energy drink, a simple design like this is not a problem. However, with the release of limited-edition flavors over time, they’ve started to tweak the design a bit as an accent while keeping the base design unchanged.
Even as a private label, the brand continues to release new flavors, providing a fun experience for supermarket and convenience store customers. This is a great approach.
Even when you line them up, the design remains the same, so you don’t get the typical energy drink vibe, and the private label feel is still noticeable.
The design is quite simple, but considering the low price, energy ingredients comparable to Red Bull, and the variety of flavors, it might not be too bad after all.
