The Beverage Brand Sparked by YouTubers: The "PRIME" Series
PRIME ENERGY DRINK is an energy drink series released in the United States in January 2023.
In reality, the brand began with the "PRIME HYDRATION" bottled beverage, announced in 2022 by American YouTuber Logan Paul and British YouTuber KSI on social media.
Both of these YouTubers, with about 25 million followers each on their main channels and immense influence in the English-speaking world, led the brand. When it was released in the UK, it caused such a stir that lines formed outside stores, and the product quickly sold out, becoming a topic of discussion. (It’s likely that resellers were part of the long queues as well.)
The Emergence of the Energy Drink Series "PRIME ENERGY" from "PRIME HYDRATION"
Building on the existing popularity of the bottled beverage "PRIME HYDRATION," which had already gained significant recognition, the "PRIME ENERGY" energy drink series was launched in January 2023. It debuted with five flavors, including some of the existing flavors from "PRIME HYDRATION," in 355ml cans.
Many people had viewed the bottled PRIME as an energy drink, but since the product was named "PRIME HYDRATION" and explicitly stated it did not contain caffeine, it was not officially an energy drink.
This is where "PRIME ENERGY" entered the scene.
