The new Red Bull RED EDITION with a watermelon flavor was released in Australia in January 2020.

Later, in the United States, the 2020 Summer Edition was launched in early February with a watermelon flavor, and in 2021, the Red Edition in the U.S. switched to the watermelon flavor, which was also adopted in various countries around the world.
