Coffee Monster & Ice Cre
I drink Coffee Monster every day, so I thought I’d try a little twist. Since it’s not as sweet as JAVA Monster, I was thinking about warming it up and turning it into something like an affogato. However, since it says it’s for cold use only, I decided to stick with it at room temperature instead (´∀`*).

In 2001, while living in the United States, I encountered energy drinks through the dance scene and was deeply impressed. After returning to Japan, I found that energy drinks were considered novelty beverages, so I established a comprehensive website in 2013 to share the true appeal of energy drinks. As an energy drink enthusiast, I began drinking them seriously again, collecting over 7,000 varieties of energy drinks from various countries. I am also active as a critic and expert, receiving media interviews.
Combined with Chocolate Sauce and Caramel Sauce
First, spread a little more than usual of brown rice flakes on a plate, then add two scoops of ice cream on top. Drizzle chocolate sauce over it, then pour Coffee Monster and sprinkle chocolate chips on top to finish. It's that simple. The vanilla ice cream takes on a slight coffee color. I prefer not to pour too much Coffee Monster, so the crunchiness of the rice flakes stays intact in some parts.
I tried the same thing but switched the sauce to caramel, as shown here. The caramel sauce also drizzles over the rice flakes, and when combined with Coffee Monster, it’s delicious again (´∀`*)
The chocolate sauce gave a clear contrast with Coffee Monster and vanilla ice cream, so it was especially tasty (*´ェ`*). The caramel sauce, however, ended up being similar in flavor to Coffee Monster, so there wasn’t much of a change. Overall, it made everything richer and sweeter.
If Coffee Monster Had Been Too Sweet, I Wouldn't Have Done This
The reason I thought "I might try something different" this time is that Coffee Monster isn’t as intensely sweet as JAVA Monster, so I felt like I could enjoy other flavors with it. When the sweetness is that overpowering, it’s hard to drink (;´∀`)
I think the fact that Coffee Monster isn’t too sweet is what makes it so enjoyable and versatile when paired with other things.
