When I poured it into a glass, the glowing lime green with a cloudy look got me pretty excited.

It had a delightful citrus fragrance, like lime and lemon (●´ω｀●), and I thought, "Maybe there's some juice in this?" I checked the ingredients, and sure enough, grapefruit is listed. With that fragrance, for just a dollar, this might be a win!

When I took a sip, the citrus fragrance spread with a mild citrus fruit sweetness.

What surprised me was that, despite the lime scent, the acidity was quite mild. I had imagined a strong lime flavor, similar to MONSTER ENERGY Extra Strength Super Dry, based on the glowing lime green and lime aroma.

As I drank it while looking at the lime green color, I momentarily lost track of the taste. But after savoring it more, I realized it tasted similar to Monster Energy Rossi from Japan—a citrusy orange flavor. It also contains grapefruit juice, which I think is added more for aroma than for flavor.

Rip It has continuously expanded its flavor lineup since its debut, and the Rip It TRIBUTE series brings in the previously rare camo pattern, further expanding their military-themed packaging. I think one of the most exciting things about energy drinks is how they can quickly evolve into a full series.

Similarly, Rockstar's ReVolt series also uses camo-themed designs across North America and Europe, though with slight differences. Rip It stands out with its U.S. military focus and strong support system.

However... it’s unfortunate that their availability is limited. Not every store carries all of their flavors, so it can be quite a challenge to collect them all. The frequent packaging changes also make it difficult to keep up, especially for us living abroad.

There are so many interesting energy drink brands beyond just the major ones, and the fun never ends!
