When you open the can, a sweet and rich apple aroma fills the air. Unlike the sharp tang or refreshing scent you might expect from green apples, this one features a mellow, sweet fragrance that's quite distinctive.

When poured into a glass, the bright, dazzling green is too beautiful! It really gets me excited. It's been a while since I've seen such an energy drink color, and it's a shade that's rarely seen in natural beverages. I can’t get enough of it!

When I took a sip, the sweet aroma followed through perfectly! The flavor captures the essence of apple, with a gentle acidity gradually emerging from the fruit's fibers, and a light aftertaste reminiscent of apple nectar... It feels like a balanced mix of various apple flavors, based on the sweet and juicy apple taste that is popular in Japan (●´ω｀●).

In particular, when drinking it at room temperature, you can really appreciate the apple flavor. I think this would be a flavor that would appeal to a wide range of people in Japan (*´ｪ`*). It’s also delicious when chilled, but its quality is such that I want to savor it slowly rather than just gulping it down.

Red Bull's Kiwi Apple flavor is also an energy drink without fruit juice, but it’s not even close in terms of taste. Recently, the new Rockstar flavors (like Mojito) have been a letdown for me, so I was really impressed by how good the Hardcore Apple is (*´ｪ`*).

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR HARDCORE APPLE

It contains 240mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 100mg of glucuronolactone, guarana, ginseng, carnitine, and more.

Despite being a non-juice drink, the ability to recreate such a fruitiness is impressive. It’s so delicious that I almost forget it has such a high caffeine content, but since it contains 240mg, be especially careful when drinking it continuously during summer.

Potential for a Series

This Hardcore series, which focuses on intense flavors and energy drink characteristics (like bold colors and high caffeine content), could definitely develop into a series. I believe it has the potential for a series not only because of its flavor stability but also because the packaging itself sparks the imagination.

Though it's little known, the design of Hardcore Apple uses the artwork of tattoo artist Oliver Peck from the previously made limited edition INKED UP cans. It's unclear why this design was used, but it’s entirely possible that future Hardcore flavors could feature tattoo designs as part of the series.

Unfortunately, INKED UP cans were all original flavors, but it would be interesting if they were to be re-released along with new flavors, like a revival. I really enjoy the idea of capturing this in a photo with other cans, which appeals to the enthusiast in me (´艸｀*)

By the way, there was some buzz among fans before the Hardcore Apple hit stores, speculating that the Oliver Peck design might change after the official release. In the end, the design stayed the same (*´艸｀*).

Overall, I think Hardcore Apple is a can I’m really satisfied with, both in terms of design and flavor, after such a long time ( ´∀｀)b Good job!
