Rockstar Energy (Japan)

Japanese version of Rockstar. It’s a big deal that the chemical flavors from the U.S. can now be enjoyed easily in Japan as well. In Japan, both the 250ml mini size and the 410ml bottle can were released. (Both were later discontinued, and Rockstar withdrew from the Japanese market.)

Medicine-like taste

My impression of drinking Rockstar after several years was that it was light and a bit unsatisfying, with a medicine-like flavor. However, by about the third can, I became hooked. I think a lot of people may not like the medicine-like taste, but actually, energy drink enthusiasts tend to really enjoy the chemical flavor.

Once you get hooked, it's a wonderful energy drink dependency effect. It's easy to see why it's so popular in the U.S... it's quite a well-made energy drink.

How I drink Rockstar - Energy Drink Maniac’s way

The 250ml size is just right, so I drink one can in the morning when I wake up and another one when I get home at night, like a normal hydration routine (*´∀｀*). On weekends, I bring Rockstar with me during my Chihuahua’s morning walk. It's quite pleasant to sip on Rockstar while strolling along.

Restocking my Rockstar supply. The six-can pack's paper case is quite fragile, so be careful! If you hold it with one hand, the perforated line can tear all at once, and the cans will tumble out. Make sure to grip it tightly and carry it to the fridge (-_-;)
