When poured into a glass, the contents have clearly darkened over time, with a rich blueberry scent filling the air. Originally, it had a bright red, orange-like color, so it's a bit disappointing, but I’ll share my review based on the degraded 50% Guava flavor.

Upon tasting, it has a sweet and tangy flavor reminiscent of dry prunes mashed into a paste. Instead of the fruity, fresh guava flavor, the taste has transformed into something akin to dried fruit, with a more concentrated savory note. The once vibrant guava flavor has shifted into a flavor that bears no resemblance to its original fruitiness.

To be honest, it now has a flavor that leans toward the apricot-like taste that often appears in high-juice flavored drinks, and the essence of guava is no longer present.

It contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 300mg of ginkgo leaf, 50mg of guarana, 50mg of inositol, 50mg of carnitine, 50mg of ginseng, and 40mg of milk thistle.

This older version of Rockstar features a variety of energy ingredients, which is interesting even by today’s standards. Nowadays, it’s rare to find an energy drink with such a rich assortment of active ingredients.

The classic texture of the Rockstar cans from the 2000s brings back nostalgic memories.

The can’s surface is quite plain. There’s no special tactile finish, and the design is just printed on a plain metal can, which makes it look a bit cheap. However, at the time of its release, this was enough to evoke that authentic energy drink vibe.

Overall, the design isn’t particularly elaborate, but it takes me back to the time when I was living in the US, where drinking energy drinks with this kind of simple design felt a bit “edgy” and nostalgic. It was the peak of the energy drink craze in America back then.
