This is the renewed version of Rockstar Juiced, released in the UK in 2014. It is also available in other European countries.

Although the Rockstar Juiced Mango Orange Passionfruit was originally sold with the same design in both the US and Europe, for some reason, the European version has a completely redesigned can, so I decided to review it again.

Opening the can, you get a sweet tropical fruit aroma.

This is the same orange color as the American version of Mango Orange Passionfruit. The color is almost identical to that of orange juice.

The flavor is just as you would expect from the color, with the tanginess and texture of orange, along with a subtle bitterness. The mango and passionfruit flavors are a bit overpowered by the orange. Although there is a tropical feel, the orange flavor stands out the most. The sweetness is mild, which weakens the impression of a mixed fruit taste.

When you think of "juice," you might expect a rich, thick, real fruit experience, but the EU Mango Orange Passionfruit version feels a bit artificial, which could be a bit disappointing.

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR JUICED MANGO ORANGE PASSIONFRUIT(EU)

It contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, guarana, and ginseng. Interestingly, it has 77g of sugar, which is quite a lot—it's surprising to see this much sugar in a drink with this flavor.

It has a total of 10% fruit juice from apple, mango, orange, and passionfruit. This is a standard amount for the recent juice series.

Doesn't this design look similar to the orange whip of ROCKSTAR BOOM released in the US?

In fact, before the release of ROCKSTAR BOOM in 2014, there was a leak of the can design. Later, this EU version of ROCKSTAR JUICED MANGO ORANGE PASSIONFRUIT was released before BOOM in the US, which led to discussions among friends about "What was that leaked design all about?!"

I don't think the taste is good enough to warrant a complete redesign, but this 2014 design renewal, along with the big success of the product in 2017 and its 2018 Destiny2 Forsaken collaboration design can in the UK, shows that it might be more of a hit product than expected.
