The aroma is a tropical fruit mix that suggests sweetness, with no strong citrus notes. The scent gives an impression of being easy to drink, which is quite striking.

The color is bright and transparent, resembling the natural colors of tropical fruits. It visually expresses the gentle aroma.

However, the taste is much stronger than the appearance and scent suggest. It's a refreshing tropical fruit flavor with guava and papaya, and there's no thickness, making it easy to drink. The fruity taste lingers in the aftertaste, where you can still enjoy the fragrance of the fruit.

The sweetness is followed by a tangy flavor, giving a pleasant sweet and sour tropical fruit taste. The balance between the main sweetness and sourness is excellent, so it feels refreshing while still having a satisfying drinkability. The aftertaste doesn't unnecessarily linger, highlighting the drink's well-balanced nature.

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR JUICED Tropical Guava

The drink contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 300mg of ginkgo leaf extract, 50mg of guarana, 50mg of carnitine, 50mg of ginseng, and 40mg of milk thistle. This energy blend is the same as the pomegranate variant released around the same time, which also contains milk thistle, a supplement used for liver function improvement.

The juice is a mix of apple and guava. It seems like apple is often used in other fruit-based energy drinks for its ability to bring out the fruity taste.

What’s the Distinction of Rockstar Juice?

While Rockstar Juice is a fruit juice-infused series, it only contains 10% juice, so the fruity flavor isn't very prominent. If more juice was used, it might have stood out more when compared to Rockstar's other series or products from other companies.

Juice-based series are slowly disappearing now... (；´∀｀) In Europe, it seems the Punch series has replaced it, so perhaps the juice series is being phased out.

That said, unlike Punch-based juices, the balance between the tropical sweetness and citrusy tang is good, and the taste isn't too light, so I think it’s a satisfying drink.
