Upon opening the can, the usual berry-flavored scent spreads. Although it's labeled as "Tropical Berry Flavor," the scent mainly gives off the impression of a singular berry flavor. Let's give it a taste.

When I take a sip, I get the sweet and sour flavors of raspberry and blueberry. At first, it tastes like a mixed berry flavor, combining different types of berries.

To really appreciate the taste and aroma, you need to take your time, but as you drink more, the berry's natural tartness gives way to a smooth tropical fruit sweetness.

As I continue drinking, the strong berry flavor that initially stood out softens, and I start to perceive a tropical fruit flavor blended with the berries, which is quite interesting.

There's no strong fruitiness, and the flavor leans more toward a gentle fruit mix candy with a tangy accent. If I had to imagine the taste, that's the closest I could get.

Unlike the intense flavors often associated with the ROCKSTAR PUNCHED series, this one is noticeably less sugary, making it much easier to drink. There's no aftertaste, and despite the large 473ml can, I could easily finish it in one go. The balance between the berry and tropical fruit combination and its drinkability is exceptional, earning this one a high rating.

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR PUNCHED #TMGS TROPICAL BERRY

Contains 240mg of caffeine, taurine, carnitine, milk thistle, ginseng, and guarana. This is a high-sugar type, characteristic of the PUNCHED series, with 61g of sugar. Since it contains a high amount of caffeine, be cautious not to drink too much.

Design of ROCKSTAR PUNCHED #TMGS TROPICAL BERRY

The can features the complex design common to the ROCKSTAR PUNCHED series, combined with green and black.

However, this color scheme doesn’t match the berry flavor or the tropical berry flavor, which is a bit disappointing.

There are unnecessary illustrations unrelated to the flavor, which makes the design feel somewhat lazy, as it seems like they just changed the colors for each flavor without much thought.

From the front of the can, you can’t easily recognize the flavor name or the series name, which continues the "defective design" trend. It would be nice if the large star could be made smaller or improved in some way. As a fan, it's disappointing when the design doesn’t match the good taste.

The color is close to the standard flavor, ROCKSTAR PUNCHED HARDCORE APPLE, so it's difficult to tell them apart. The problem here is the reuse of the same illustration with just a color change.

About "#TMGS"

"#TMGS" is AMPM’s catchphrase. The "#TMGS" series is an AMPM-exclusive product, so it's only available in areas where AMPM stores are located, such as the West Coast. (They don’t have stores on the East Coast)

Popular flavors from the "#TMGS" series may be re-released as regular products without the "#TMGS" label, making them available nationwide at all stores. Unfortunately, ROCKSTAR PUNCHED #TMGS TROPICAL BERRY ended up being discontinued as an AMPM exclusive.

If a "#TMGS" series product doesn’t become a regular item, it will be sold out once the stock is gone. New "#TMGS" series products are released regularly, so they tend to disappear from shelves within about a year.
