Released in the summer of 2016, Rockstar Pure Zero Lemonade. The Pure Zero series has released new products for two consecutive years, and with the high quality of these offerings, many people must be excited for what’s to come.

As you can see, this is a very ordinary lemonade. The scent is not strong, and there’s nothing particularly thick about it. It doesn't have the usual refreshing characteristics either.

When I first tried it at room temperature, the sweetness was mild, and I could clearly taste the artificial sweeteners. The acidity is strong, and despite being a zero-calorie drink, it feels somewhat lingering. (´・ω・｀)

However, when it’s chilled to the bone, it transforms into a refreshing lemonade flavor with a distinct citrus zing. The lemon's acidity stands out, and because there is no overwhelming sweetness or scent, it feels incredibly refreshing as it goes down. (●´ω｀●)
When you add plenty of ice, on a summer day, you might end up finishing the whole can in one go, as it becomes very refreshing to drink.

It’s interesting how they managed to highlight the lemon's acidity without relying on scent. As a result, there are no overwhelming odors that get in the way, making it easy to gulp down. Since it contains 240mg of caffeine, be sure to drink it in moderation. (laugh)

However, if you’re drinking it slowly, the aftertaste from the artificial sweeteners can become a bit bitter, so this drink might not be the best choice if you're looking to savor the lemonade flavor slowly. There are many other energy drinks that offer a more satisfying lemonade taste without the zero-calorie aspect.

As a drinker, I think Pure Zero Lemonade is best for those moments when you're hot, thirsty, and need something to drink immediately! It was a good move to release it in the summer in the US, and honestly, it feels like a perfect drink for summer. (●´ω｀●)

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR PURE ZERO LEMONADE

It contains a high 240mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 100mg of glucuronolactone, guarana, ginseng, milk thistle, and more.

Though it didn’t have much of a fruit taste, it contains 2% lemon juice.

Since the release of Pure Zero Lemonade, the texture of the can has been changed from a rough surface to a smooth one. Personally, I’m a bit disappointed, but along with this change, the cans of Silver Ice, Punch, and Watermelon were all also switched to a smooth texture.

The official website shows Pure Zero Lemonade with a smooth texture from the start. The Watermelon, which was released in 2015, had a rough texture, so it seems that from the beginning, the Lemonade was planned to be smooth.

However, there was a small batch of pre-release cans with a rough texture of Pure Zero Lemonade. This may very well be the last version with the rough texture.
