Refreshing, Sweet Strawberry-Main Flavor

As soon as I open the can, a burst of fresh mango and orange aroma greets me! Just as expected from the can color (*´艸｀*)

When I pour it into the glass... huh!? It's pink!? It's a slightly lighter pink than I expected. I had imagined a rich tropical fruit color like the one on the upper gradient of the can, similar to Pipeline Punch, so this was a bit different from what I had in mind.

In the photo, it appears a little darker, but in reality, it’s a much softer pink.

The first taste brings a mild sweetness from a mix of orange and papaya without any sourness. Then, the strawberry aroma quickly takes over, and the initial fruit mix flavor swiftly transforms into a strong strawberry taste. After a few more sips, it becomes almost exclusively strawberry flavored (●´ω｀●).

The aftertaste is almost nonexistent and very refreshing. There's no unpleasant aftertaste from artificial sweeteners, and as a zero-calorie drink, it's quite good. The strawberry flavor is delicious, and overall, it's a highly satisfying experience.

Compared to other zero-calorie drinks from different companies, the flavor replication is outstanding. As the zero-calorie trend expands in the US, I believe even those accustomed to richer flavors will easily accept PURE ZERO #TMGS.

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR PURE ZERO #TMGS

With an impressive 240mg of caffeine, this drink also contains 2000mg of taurine, 100mg of glucuronolactone, 50mg of inositol, guarana, and ginseng.

The refreshing flavor makes it an ideal drink for chugging down during the summer, but with the high caffeine content, be cautious not to mix it with other energy drinks, coffee, or caffeine-containing supplements.

Zero calories, zero sugar, and, of course, no fruit juice, but the strawberry flavor is very easy to drink and tasty. I'm impressed by how well they managed to recreate it as a zero-calorie drink ( ´∀｀)bｸﾞｯ!

#TMGS Explained

ROCKSTAR PURE ZERO #TMGS is an AMPM-exclusive product in the US. I grabbed it right after its release in San Francisco ( ´∀｀)bｸﾞｯ!

#TMGS refers to AMPM's catchy slogan, Too Much Good Stuff, and the initials of the flavors: Tangerine, Mango, Guava, and Strawberry.

The #TMGS featured in this ad is different from the regular product... By the way, this is a completely internal sample, not a pre-release version you’d find in stores. It’s definitely intriguing.

This is the first gradient design in the PURE ZERO series. The AMPM-exclusive release adds a sense of rarity that appeals to collectors. There’s never been a PURE ZERO like this in the Rockstar series before.

The pull tab is a pink tab matching the drink. The contrast with the orange at the top of the can is simply beautiful (●´ω｀●).

By 2019, the #TMGS flavor was made available at all locations, allowing easy access across the US. As a result, the product name changed from the short and catchy "#TMGS" to a longer one with all the flavor names, making it quite a mouthful (^_^;).

This new name is hard to say, so it’s likely that even after the nationwide release, the name #TMGS will still be used among fans.
