This is ROCKSTAR REFRESH SUMMER FRUITS, a new zero-sugar series launched in March 2023 in Europe and Oceania.
This review focuses on the Summer Fruits flavor released in Australia. In Europe, the same design is used, but with more specific flavor names like "Mango Guava" or "Tropical Guava." Personally, I think "Summer Fruits" is a good name as well.

Flavor of ROCKSTAR REFRESH SUMMER FRUITS
Opening the can, a sweet fruit candy-like aroma fills the air. It's a bit hard to pinpoint which fruit this is based on the scent alone. Let's give it a taste.
Once I take a sip, a mix of tropical fruits like guava, passion fruit, and mango comes through with a tangy sweetness.
The fruitiness is subtle and doesn't linger too much, with the acidity standing out in a light, refreshing flavor, while the fruit candy scent continues to linger pleasantly.
There’s no unpleasant aftertaste from artificial sweeteners, and it has a smooth tropical fruit flavor that’s easy to drink.
The light, refreshing mouthfeel typical of zero sugar drinks, combined with the distinct tangy and umami-rich fruit candy flavor, creates an outstanding taste.
Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR REFRESH SUMMER FRUITS
It contains 155mg of caffeine, 100mg of taurine, and 2.2mg of ginseng. The other ingredients are in such small amounts that they don't contribute much.
Design of ROCKSTAR REFRESH SUMMER FRUITS
The can features a combination of orange and pink. The design reflects the summer fruit and tropical fruit theme. The color makes you think it could be a mix of orange and strawberry flavor.
The main orange part of the can uses the design from Rockstar's original U.S. sugar-free Pure Zero series, with the color transitioning from a white base to the flavor color.
With less white and silver on the can, it can be difficult to immediately identify it as a zero sugar product when seen on shelves.
The only clear indication that it's zero sugar is the "NO SUGAR" marking on the shiny silver part at the top of the can.
Although it's crucial for zero sugar to stand out when being chosen in stores, it’s a shame that the marketing for it isn't more apparent.
This zero-sugar series sold in Australia features color contrasts in the flavor part that don’t scream "zero sugar," which is a unique characteristic.
Since the flavor of ROCKSTAR REFRESH SUMMER FRUITS is both easy to drink and delivers a good tropical candy-like umami, they may have intentionally avoided overemphasizing the zero sugar aspect.
From the front, the large star on the can makes the brand name and flavor name hard to read, which, unfortunately, is a flaw.
