The scent may be noticeable only to those with a sensitive nose, as it has a slight hint of the peculiar smell typical of European-style green apple. For a detailed review, you would need to drink it, but it’s a minor issue that’s hardly noticeable. When I had my second can, I didn’t even notice the scent! Σ(´∀｀；)

When drinking, I was surprised to experience a taste that’s like the honey that oozes out when biting into a sweet, ripe Japanese apple. The flavor has the sweet taste of the fruit’s flesh with a pleasant, mild acidity that provides an accent. It doesn’t have that overly syrupy, heavy apple flavor like other apple-flavored energy drinks; instead, it has the real taste of Japanese apples.

The aftertaste is just like eating an apple, with a slightly sweet and sour taste lingering in your mouth.

I’ve never had such a realistic Japanese apple flavor in an energy drink before. It’s so good that I’m impressed every time I drink it.

It’s a rich and punchy flavor, with excellent satisfaction. This is a real fruit flavor, unlike the typical thick apple flavors found in energy drinks like Rockstar Hardcore Apple. It’s hard to pick a winner between them as both are top-class in taste, but Killer Apple Pomme is undoubtedly a perfect match for Japanese tastes. It’s shockingly delicious.

The best way to drink it is to chill it well in the refrigerator and drink it straight from the can without adding ice. Adding ice would dilute the flavor, and that would be a waste. For the best experience, pour it into a glass and drink it in one go.

Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR REVOLT KILLER APPLE POMME

Contains 160mg of caffeine, 2000mg of taurine, 50mg of inositol, 10mg of ginseng, and 10mg of guarana.

Like the previous ReVolt series, it’s naturally juice-free. It’s scary how juice-like it tastes… honestly, I might believe it’s 100% juice if someone told me! Σ(´∀｀；)

Design of ROCKSTAR REVOLT KILLER APPLE POMME

As mentioned earlier, the previous ReVolt series had a single theme color for the camouflage pattern. However, this time, ROCKSTAR REVOLT KILLER APPLE POMME features a combination of green, gray, and black, which is a new mix. It does seem somewhat halfway done. Perhaps it’s because the color resembles the original ReVolt Killer Citrus. I wonder why they chose this particular color.

Apple is the English word for apple, and pomme is French for apple. Could this be a nod to Canada with its bilingual roots? Regardless, the quality is so high that using “apple” twice in the name isn’t an exaggeration. Personally, I think this is the most delicious flavor in the ReVolt series. It was such a pleasant surprise to taste it!

Killer Apple Pomme, like the first major hit in Canada, ReVolt Killer Blue Raz, is now available exclusively at 7-Eleven. Unfortunately, it’s not yet available in eastern Canada. I hope it will be available across all of Canada eventually.

I think the best way to enjoy energy drinks in Canada is to visit both the east and west at different times of the year and enjoy the energy drink life. Killer Apple Pomme is a great example of that.

Although Killer Apple Pomme hasn’t yet appeared in the product list after its 2019 release, the Blue Raz, which was freed from its limited availability, is definitely listed. I’d love for all Canadians to try this flavor, which I think will suit Japanese people’s tastes as well. It’s the ultimate Canadian energy drink, and I recommend it to Canadians, even though I’m just a random Japanese person. (*´艸｀*)
