Flavor of ROCKSTAR ROASTED with Almond Milk CAFFE LATTE

From the moment I opened the can, I noticed the scent was different from the usual American coffee energy drinks. The use of almond milk makes such a difference! The sweet aroma is much more subdued, with a hint of almond fragrance acting as an accent.

When poured into a glass, there’s no thick creaminess typical of milk, and it’s quite runny. The color isn’t a sugary pale shade, but rather a surprisingly rich color that could easily be called a coffee beverage (´∀｀)b nice!
My first impression was: This looks drinkable! (*´艸｀*)

The taste lacks the sweetness of milk, and in terms of sweetness, it’s comparable to a typical café latte you’d find in Japan. The sweetness is clean and smooth, and the flavor is gentle, with a lightly toasted coffee aroma still present. The almond milk doesn’t overpower the coffee flavor, which is impressive (●´ω｀●).

It’s surprising that it tastes great even when served at room temperature. The difference between regular milk and almond milk is much more noticeable than expected…

As with other products in the Roasted series, it contains a higher amount of caffeine, 225mg. It also includes taurine 2000mg, carnitine 50mg, guarana, and ginseng.

The standout feature is undoubtedly the almond milk. Considering its popularity in the U.S., it’s no surprise that Rockstar quickly incorporated it into the Roasted series.

Almond milk’s popularity also comes from its low-calorie nature, but the sugar added to achieve that signature café latte sweetness means it’s not especially low in calories. It might have been better to dial back the sweetness slightly for a more low-calorie option.

The design evokes the older Rockstar aesthetic with a straight star, silver monochrome colors, and a smoky effect.
This is a new design for Rockstar, and I must say I like the silver and black combination best among the almond milk series.
On the other hand, the red and blue combinations from other designs feel out of place, lacking the coffee energy vibe, which makes them seem a bit awkward (＾_＾;)
