Flavor of ROCKSTAR UNPLUGGED PASSION FRUIT
When you open the can, there's a faintly tangy passion fruit aroma. This scent is so exquisite that it evokes the sweetness of the fruit's flesh and the tartness of the seeds, giving you the sensation of being right in front of passion fruit pulp. The liquid inside is a rich, glowing yellow, which perfectly reflects the image of passion fruit pulp.
When you take a sip, it offers a gentle sweetness with a clear fruit mix flavor. It’s not the intense sweet-tart taste of passion fruit, but rather a light and refreshing fruit juice with a subtle taste.
The aroma is a perfect passion fruit scent, but since the flavor doesn't match the passion fruit's taste, it might feel like a letdown for those expecting a rich passion fruit flavor or a strong fruit flavor typical of energy drinks.
However, when you drink it as a fresh, clear-flavored water with a passion fruit aroma, the execution is highly impressive. Since it's sugar-free, it’s easy on the body, and there’s zero taste of artificial sweeteners.
Compared to typical light-flavored waters, the quality of the fragrance and the subtle sweetness offers a much richer taste, which I personally really enjoy.
Energy Ingredients of ROCKSTAR UNPLUGGED PASSION FRUIT
It contains 80mg of caffeine, which is relatively low. The hemp seed oil, a feature of the ROCKSTAR UNPLUGGED series, doesn’t provide energy or any other special effects, so it should be considered more as an image-enhancing ingredient.
It also mentions that it does not contain THC, which many people may be concerned about.
Design of ROCKSTAR UNPLUGGED PASSION FRUIT
The white base, 355ml slim can, and the zero-sugar, zero-calorie label give it the stylish vibe of a trendy energy drink that has become popular in the U.S. since 2020.
The main color is a purple that reflects the passion fruit's skin, with a yellow accent representing the fruit's flesh. Unlike before, the "groove shape" design swirling around the star is a signature of the ROCKSTAR UNPLUGGED series. This design is said to be inspired by music.
