The new addition to the Rockstar Vodka series, Twister Island Fruit, was released in Canada in 2019.

While the Twister series released in the UK has been expanding across various European countries and Oceania, Canada surprisingly released this alcoholic product before the energy drink version.

Opening the can releases a sweet and sour, rich fruity candy-like aroma. It's rare in the Rockstar Vodka series to have the unique flavor's aroma come before the scent of vodka.

When poured into a glass, it has a slightly cloudy pinkish-purple color. At first glance, it's hard to tell whether it's an energy drink or an alcoholic beverage.

Tasting it, the sweetness of berries and grapes comes first, followed by the strong taste and aroma of vodka. The berry and grape mix flavor is sweet and refreshing, on par with the level of Japanese fruit-flavored chu-hai (a type of Japanese alcoholic drink).

I'm surprised that this flavor stands up to the vodka more than the previous Rockstar Vodka series.

Interestingly, Japanese chu-hai drinks are quite popular with foreigners, and I think this Island Fruit could definitely sell well in Japan. If people in Canada were to try it, I sense it could build a strong fanbase. However, it's a bit of a shame that the Rockstar Vodka series isn't as popular as some other brands. Σ(´∀｀；)

With the 2019 update to the Rockstar Vodka line, the front of the can now clearly states "Not an energy drink."

At the same time, the energy ingredients like caffeine, which were previously included in the Rockstar Vodka series, have been removed. This product now represents Rockstar Vodka as an alcohol-based beverage without the added energy ingredients.
