Flavor of SEMTEX EXTREM Guarana & Marcha
Upon opening the can, a sweet and sour classic flavor aroma bursts out, and surprisingly, when poured into a glass, a fresh and slightly bitter matcha scent emerges. The matcha fragrance is much stronger than I expected—what kind of taste will this lead to!? Let's taste it and find out.
When I take a sip, the sweetness is mild, and the tanginess of the classic flavor stands out. There are no distinctive matcha notes like bitterness or astringency, but I can enjoy a slight chemical-like bitterness typical of artificial flavors.
The matcha scent lingers in the aftertaste, providing a nice accent.
The classic flavor's aroma is strong enough that the matcha fragrance doesn’t transform it into something strange. Though it’s hard to imagine, the "classic flavor with a hint of matcha" offers a surprisingly pleasant and harmonious taste, which is rare.
However, when considering whether someone would intentionally choose SEMTEX EXTREM Guarana & Marcha, I think the number of people doing so would be quite low. While the matcha scent is unique, it doesn't have enough of a distinctive appeal that would make me want to choose it again. I’m curious to see how long this product will continue to be sold.

Looking at the colors and design, you wouldn’t expect this to be a collaboration with a hardcore gangster rapper, would you?
When I saw this in a store in Slovakia, I grabbed it without any prior knowledge and thought it might be a natural-type energy drink.
At the bottom of the can, there is a signature from Separ. It's interesting that this is the only place where the street vibe is visible—nowhere else in the design does it feel particularly street-inspired.
Separ, even before collaborating with SEMTEX, has been producing original rum and food products, releasing something new every year.
SEMTEX EXTREM Guarana & Marcha might have been developed with Separ taking the lead, rather than SEMTEX simply using a celebrity for a collaboration.
The SEMTEX brand name, which would normally be prominently displayed, is small, while the "EXTREM" series name is large. This suggests that Separ played a significant role in the development of this product.
